Title 46.2 - Motor Vehicles
§ 46.2-749.10. Special license plates for ridesharing vehicles
On receipt of an application therefor, the Commissioner shall issue special license plates for display on ridesharing vehicles. License plates shall be issued under this section only for privately owned or leased motor vehicles (i) with seating for no more than fifteen adult persons including the driver and (ii) participating in ridesharing arrangements. The cost for such special license plates shall be the same as for the regular license plates for vehicles described in ยง 46.2-695.
