Title 46.2 - Motor Vehicles
§ 46.2-1908.1. Certification of certain nonprofit organizations
Upon application to and approval by the Department, any nonprofit organization exempt from taxation under ยง 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code may be issued a nonprofit organization certificate authorizing it to consign donated T&M vehicles to licensed Virginia T&M vehicle dealers when the nonprofit organization receives title to such T&M vehicles as qualified charitable gifts and titles the T&M vehicles in the name of the nonprofit organization.
