§ 33.1-93. (Repealed effective October 1, 2014) Use and disposition of residue parcels of land


VA Code § 33.1-93 (2014) What's This?

The Commissioner may lease, sell or exchange such residue parcels of land upon such terms and conditions as in the judgment of the Commissioner may be in the public interest; provided, however, the Commissioner shall not use such parcels for any commercial purpose. The Commissioner may lease, sell, or exchange such residue parcels of land, as may have been acquired under the provisions of Article 5 (§ 33.1-267 et seq.) of Chapter 3 of Title 33.1, upon such terms and conditions as in the judgment of the Commissioner may be in the public interest. The Commissioner may lease such parcels of land, as may have been acquired under the provisions of § 33.1-90 in the event the former owner fails to make the request authorized under the aforesaid section to others than the former owner, upon such terms and conditions as in the judgment of the Commissioner may be in the public interest. The provisions of Articles 10 (§ 33.1-144 et seq.) and 11 (§ 33.1-150 et seq.) of Chapter 1 of Title 33.1 shall not be construed to apply to the disposition of land hereinabove authorized.
