VA Code § 33.1-89.2 (2014) What's This?
The Commissioner of Highways may use the powers granted in this title to acquire needed property interests for purposes set out in Chapter 10.1 (ยง 33.1-391.1 et seq.) of this title. Whenever the term "highway purpose or purposes," "highway project," or "highway construction" appears in this title, it means "highway, passenger and freight rail or public transportation purposes."
