VA Code § 18.2-13 (2014) What's This?
Where a statute in this Code prescribes punishment by stating that the offense is a misdemeanor, or that it is punishable as provided for in ยง 18.2-12, the offense shall be deemed to be a Class 1 misdemeanor.
