44-68. Jurisdiction and procedure.
The courts-martial and deck courts herein provided for shall be constituted and have cognizance of the same subjects and possess like powers, except as to punishments, as similar courts-martial provided for in the navy of the United States; and the proceedings of courts-martial of the naval militia shall follow the forms and modes of procedure prescribed for such courts in the navy of the United States.
