31-9. Termination of guardianship.

Unless the guardian dies, is removed, or resigns the guardianship, he shall continue in office until the minor attains the age of majority or, in the case of testamentary guardianship, until the termination of the period limited therefor. At the expiration of the guardianship, he shall deliver and pay all the estate and money in his hands, or with which he is chargeable, to the person entitled to receive the same.
