55-186.1 - In what form grant to issue.
ยง 55-186.1. In what form grant to issue.
Such grant shall be without warranty, and to the following effect:
"A.B., Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to all to whom these presents shall come, greeting: Know ye, that in consideration of the sum of $. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . paid by . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . into the treasury of this Commonwealth, etc., there is granted without warranty by the Commonwealth unto the said . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . a certain tract or parcel of land, containing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . acres, lying in the county (or city) of . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ., etc., (describing the bounds of the land and date of the survey or other description sufficient to identify the parcel) with its appurtenances, to the said . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and his heirs forever.
