28.2-706 - Restrictions on crab scraping; penalty.
§ 28.2-706. Restrictions on crab scraping; penalty.
It is unlawful for any person to:
1. Use a crab scrape having a mouth longer than four feet and a toothed bar;
2. Haul a scrape, except by hand;
3. Have more than two scrapes overboard; or
4. Possess hard crabs while having a crab scrape on board.
A violation of any provision of this section is a Class 3 misdemeanor.
