63.2-221. Board to investigate institutions at direction of Governor.

Whenever the Governor considers it proper or necessary to investigate themanagement of any institution licensed by or required to be inspected by theBoard under the provisions of this title, he may direct the Board, or anycommittee or agent thereof, to make the investigation. The Board, committeeor agent designated by the Governor shall have power to administer oaths andto summon officers, employees or other persons to attend as witnesses and toenforce their attendance and to compel them to produce documents and giveevidence.
