55-174. Attendance of jurors.

If any person summoned or adjourned as a juror fail to attend according tothe summons or adjournment, the escheator shall return the fact to the nextcircuit court having jurisdiction over the county or city in which the landthat is the subject of the inquisition may lie. Such court may fine suchperson not exceeding fifty dollars. Jurors shall be compensated as providedfor jurors in civil cases.
