54.1-2107. Certain action to constitute real estate broker or salesperson.

One act for compensation or valuable consideration of buying or selling realestate of or for another, or offering for another to buy or sell or exchangereal estate, or leasing, or renting, or offering to rent real estate, exceptas specifically excepted in 54.1-2103, shall constitute the person, firm,partnership, copartnership, association or corporation, performing, offeringor attempting to perform any of the acts enumerated above, a real estatebroker or real estate salesperson.
