46.2-891. Exemption for highway construction and maintenance vehicles.
The provisions of this article shall not apply to any vehicle owned orcontrolled by the Virginia Department of Transportation or counties, citiesor towns, while actually engaged in the construction, reconstruction, ormaintenance of highways.
