46.2-444. Surety requirements of bond.

The bond mentioned in subdivision 2 of 46.2-436 shall be duly executed bythe person giving proof and by a surety company duly authorized to transactbusiness in the Commonwealth or by the person giving proof and by one or moreindividual sureties owning real estate within the Commonwealth and having anequity therein in at least the amount of the bond and the real estate shallbe scheduled in the bond. But the Commissioner may not accept any realestate bond unless it is first approved by the circuit court of thejurisdiction wherein the real estate is located.
