46.2-2171. Changes in tariffs.

No change shall be made in any rate or charge, or any rule, regulation, orpractice affecting such rate or charge, or the value of the servicethereunder, specified in any effective tariff of a household goods carrier,except after thirty days' notice of the proposed change. Such notice shallplainly state the change proposed to be made and the time when such changewill take effect. The Department may, in its discretion and for good causeshown, allow such change upon notice less than that herein specified ormodify the requirements of this section with respect to posting and filing oftariffs.
