33.1-255. Toll bridges; when privilege ceases.

When an act is passed to authorize the erection of a toll bridge, if the workbe not commenced within one year from the passage of such act or be notcompleted within two years after such commencement or if, after itscompletion, there be an abandonment of the bridge or a failure for threesuccessive years to keep it in good order, the privileges granted by the actshall cease.
