2006 Code of Virginia § 27-96.2 - Exemptions generally

27-96.2. Exemptions generally.

The provisions of this chapter concerning fireworks shall have no applicationto any officer or member of the armed forces of this Commonwealth, or of theUnited States, while acting within the scope of his authority and duties assuch, nor to any offer of sale or sale of fireworks to any authorized agentof such armed forces; nor shall it be applicable to the sale or use ofmaterials or equipment, otherwise prohibited by this chapter, when suchmaterials or equipment is used or to be used by any person for signaling orother emergency use in the operation of any boat, railroad train or othervehicle for the transportation of persons or property.
