23-233.1. Establishment of auxiliary police forces; powers, authority andimmunities generally.

The governing boards, for the further preservation of public peace, safetyand good order of the campus community, shall have the power to establish,equip, and maintain auxiliary police forces. When called into servicepursuant to procedures established by the governing board, members of theseauxiliary forces shall have all the powers, authority, and immunities ofpublic institutions of higher education campus police officers.
