22.1-220. Power of counties, cities and towns to appropriate and expendfunds for education of children with disabilities.

The governing body of any county, city or town is hereby authorized andempowered to appropriate and expend funds of the county, city or town infurtherance of the education of children with disabilities residing in suchcounty, city or town who attend Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center orpublic or private nonsectarian schools, or public or private nonsectarianchild-day programs for children below the compulsory school attendance age,whether within or without the county, city or town and whether within orwithout the Commonwealth.
