2006 Code of Virginia § 17.1-112 - Sheriff to attend court as its officer

17.1-112. Sheriff to attend court as its officer.

Neither the Supreme Court nor the Court of Appeals shall be attended by anysheriff in the City of Richmond. In all other cases, the sheriff of thecounty or city in which any court is held shall attend it and act as itsofficer.
