16.1-325. Compact administrator.

Pursuant to the compact set forth in 16.1-323, the Governor is herebyauthorized and empowered to designate an officer who shall be the compactadministrator and who, acting jointly with like officers of other partystates, shall promulgate rules and regulations to carry out more effectivelythe terms of the compact. Said compact administrator shall serve subject tothe pleasure of the Governor. The compact administrator is hereby authorized,empowered and directed to cooperate with all departments, agencies andofficers of and in the government of this Commonwealth and its subdivisionsin facilitating the proper administration of the compact or of anysupplementary agreement or agreements entered into by this Commonwealththereunder.
