§ 220. Surplus Property Revolving Fund; charges against other departments and agencies

  • (a) There is hereby created within the Department of Property and Procurement a Surplus Property Revolving Fund which shall be obligated and expended for all expenses, including personal services, materials and supplies, contractual services, equipment, and all other expenses, for the continuation of a program for the procurement of surplus property from the United States Government.

  • (b) The Department of Property and Procurement shall charge each department and agency of the Government for actual expenses incurred in the packing, handling and transportation of surplus property requisitioned by and obtained for such department and agency. Such department and agency shall make such payments promptly to the Department of Property and Procurement from their respective appropriations. Such payments shall be deposited in the Surplus Property Revolving Fund as herein created and shall be available for expenditure for the purposes described in subsection (a) of this section.
