§ 53. Same; requirements with respect to subsoiling

Universal Citation: V.I. Code tit. 7, § 53 (2019)

To qualify for cost-sharing, subsoiling must be performed only on land which can be benefited by such practice, and where such subsoiling will aid in the increase of the water table. Subsoiling must be performed to a minimum depth of 14 inches and a maximum spacing interval of 4 feet. On sloping land, subsoiling must be done following the appropriate contours of the land.
