Chapter 17 - Billiard and Pool Tables
§ 331. Licenses for billiard and pool tables

  • (a) It shall be unlawful to maintain a pool or billiard table in any place open to the public without a license therefor.

  • (b) The annual license fee for each public billiard or pool table shall be as specified in section 303 of Title 27.

  • (c) All applications for licenses shall be made in writing to the Police Commissioner, who, upon proper investigation of the premises whereupon the said tables are to be used, may recommend to the Lieutenant Governor that a license be issued for a term of one year, unless sooner suspended or revoked.
