§ 293. Immunity from suit

Any minor who is examined, treated, hospitalized, or who received medical or surgical treatment under this chapter may give legal consent, and no person, hospital, or governmental agency administering or responsible for administering such medical or surgical treatment shall be liable, except for gross, willful or wanton negligence, for treating such minor without advising the parent, parents, or legal guardian.
