§ 605. Filling of a vacancy

Any vacancy in the office of Superintendent shall be filled as soon as practicable by the School Board of Trustees. Pending such appointment, or in the case of the Superintendent’s absence or disability, the School Board of Trustees may designate some person to perform the duties of the office. In no case shall a member of the School Board of Trustees assume the duties of the Superintendent. (Amended 2021, No. M-16 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. May 31, 2022.)
