§ 5366. Not liable until notified

A town shall not be charged for not keeping in repair the fence around a burial ground, or be liable for damage done, unless the selectboard, or cemetery commissioners, as the case may be, had notice in writing 20 days previous that the fence was out of repair. (Amended 1989, No. 142 (Adj. Sess.), § 13.)
