§ 5306. Victim advocates

State’s Attorneys are authorized to hire victim advocates. Victim advocates shall provide services in accordance with job descriptions established and maintained by the Department of State’s Attorneys and Sheriffs. (Added 1985, No. 182 (Adj. Sess.), § 2, eff. Sept. 1, 1986; amended 2017, No. 81, § 10, eff. June 15, 2017; 2023, No. 9, § 2, eff. April 25, 2023.)
