§ 567. Forfeiture of seized property

§ 567. Forfeiture of seized property

(a) If, after a hearing, the court determines that the alcoholic beverages, alcohol, or other property seized pursuant to section 562 or 563 of this chapter was intended for sale, distribution, or use contrary to law, it shall be adjudged forfeited and condemned.

(b) Alcoholic beverages, alcohol, or other property that is adjudged forfeited and condemned under this section shall be turned over to the Commissioner of Liquor and Lottery for the benefit of the State.
