§ 1728a Permissible treatments; glaucoma types

§ 1728a. Permissible treatments; glaucoma types
(a) A licensee may treat the following types of glaucoma on patients who are 16 years of age or older:
(1) adult primary open angle glaucoma;
(2) exfoliative glaucoma;
(3) pigmentary glaucoma;
(4) low tension glaucoma;
(5) inflammatory (uveitic) glaucoma; and
(6) emergency treatment of angle closure glaucoma.
(b) This section shall not prohibit a licensee from administering appropriate emergency stabilization treatment to a patient. (Added 2003, No. 108 (Adj. Sess.), § 6.)
