§ 562 Definitions

§ 562. Definitions

As used in this chapter:

(1) [Repealed.]

(2) "Hemp products" means all products made from hemp, including cloth, cordage, fiber, food, fuel, paint, paper, construction materials, plastics, seed, seed meal, seed oil, and certified seed for cultivation.

(3) "Hemp" means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of the plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.

(4) "Secretary" means the Secretary of Agriculture, Food and Markets. (Added 2007, No. 212 (Adj. Sess.), § 2; amended 2013, No. 84, § 1.)
