§ 301 Administration and powers
5-301. Administration and powers
The administration of all fiscal, prudential, and municipal affairs of the City and the government thereof shall be vested in the Mayor and Council members, subject to the provision herein contained respecting a City Manager. The Mayor and Council members shall be sworn to the faithful performance of their duties, respectively. The Mayor and Council members in their joint capacity shall constitute the City Council. The City Council shall have all the powers of selectmen.
