3-126. Commissioners and Board of Tax Appeals

Except as specified in section 121 of this charter, each public works commissioner, cemetery commissioner, police commissioner, fire commissioner, light commissioner, park and recreation commissioner, member of the Board of Health, and member of the Board of Tax Appeals shall hold office for the term of three years, each airport commissioner and each City planning commissioner for the term of four years, and each library commissioner for the term of two years, from the first day of July following his or her appointment. Each assessor, except the City Assessor, shall hold office for the term of three years from the first day of April following the appointment and until his or her successor is appointed and has qualified.
