24A V.S.A. § 505 What's This?

[Section 505 repealed effective June 30, 2014.] 257-505. Enforcement

(a) The violation of an ordinance, bylaw, rule, or regulation may provide for a fine or imprisonment, but no fine may exceed $500.00 nor may any term of imprisonment exceed one year. Each week the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

(b) The Board of Trustees may apply to the Washington County Court to enjoin the violation of an ordinance, bylaw, rule, or regulation, but the election of the Board to proceed under this subsection shall not prevent prosecutions under subsection (a) of this section.
