131-405. Oath of office

All elective officials and all police officers of the Town shall, before assuming office, take, subscribe, and file with the Town Clerk the following oath:

"I ________ solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of ________ of the Town of Plainfield to the best of my judgment and abilities, according to law, so help me God (or I so affirm)."
