§ 1101 Applicability of State law to zoning and planning
127-1101. Applicability of State law to zoning and planning
The Zoning Administrator under any Middlebury zoning ordinance or bylaw shall be appointed annually by the selectmen, after the annual meeting and shall serve for one year or until his/her successor is appointed and qualified. All other matters pertaining to zoning, land subdivision, municipal and regional plans, shall be exclusively controlled by the statutes of the State of Vermont, except as specifically provided in this charter.
