§ 204 Vacancies


24A V.S.A. § 204 What's This?

113-204. Vacancies

In case of a vacancy of any elected Town official, such vacancy shall be filled by the Board of Selectmen until the next annual election. The person then elected shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term. If more than one vacancy occurs on an elected board at the same time the vacancy shall be filled by a special Town meeting called for that purpose. Separate filing shall be made for such unexpired term.
