378. Veterans' exemptions

No fees shall be charged honorably discharged veterans of the armed forces of the United States, who are residents of the state of Vermont for the registration of a motor vehicle granted the veteran by the veterans' administration, or for the registration of a motor vehicle owned by him or her during his or her lifetime obtained as a replacement thereof, when accompanied by a certificate issued by the veterans' administration center certifying him or her to be entitled to such exemption.
