2308. Powers of trustees for absent persons

The trustees shall be vested with all the property, real and personal, rights, choses in action and evidences of property or indebtedness belonging to such absent person, and may take possession of such property and collect the demands, pay the debts of such person and may maintain or defend an action necessary to protect the property or rights of such person.
