2305. Trustees of absent persons-Definition

For the purposes of sections 2306-2310 of this title an absent person is defined as one having a domicile, property or evidences of property in this state who suddenly or mysteriously disappears under such circumstances as to satisfy the probate division of the superior court of the proper district that there is reasonable ground to believe that he is lost, insane or dead or is one who, having a domicile, property or evidences of property in this state, remains beyond the sea or absents himself or herself in this state or elsewhere and is unheard of for three years.
