3022. Enforcement; inspection

(a) The secretary shall enforce the provisions of this chapter. The secretary may, with the approval of the governor, appoint one or more inspectors who shall also be authorized to inspect all apiaries and otherwise enforce the provisions of this chapter.

(b) The secretary shall pay any such inspectors their salary and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties from the moneys annually available to the agency. (Added 1983, No. 83, 1; amended 2003, No. 42, 2, eff. May 27, 2003.)
