33 V.S.A. § 7103. What's This?

§ 7103. License

(a) A person shall not operate a nursing home, assisted living residence, home for the terminally ill, residential care home, or therapeutic community residence without first obtaining a license.

(b) A person shall not operate a nursing home as defined in this chapter or as defined in 18 V.S.A. chapter 46 except under the supervision of an administrator licensed in the manner provided in 18 V.S.A. chapter 46.

(c) Residents of a home for the terminally ill shall receive necessary medical and nursing services, which may be provided through outside providers. (Amended 1959, No. 27, § 4; 1964, No. 6 (Sp.
