§ 249-901. Competency to act as legal or public safety officer
No person being a resident or tax-payer of said corporation shall thereby be deemed incompetent to act as judge, justice, juror, sheriff, deputy sheriff, constable or police officer in any matter, cause or proceeding in which said corporation shall be interested.
