§ 311. Training requirements

No person may receive an appointment as a deputy sheriff unless he has been awarded a certificate by the executive director of the criminal justice training council attesting to his satisfactory completion of an approved basic training program, except as provided in section 307(b) of this title. (Added 1971, No. 7, § 2, eff. July 1, 1971; amended 1977, No. 218 (Adj. Sess.), § 6.)
