§ 609. Veterans' exemption

No fees shall be charged honorably discharged veterans of the armed forces of the United States, who are residents of the state of Vermont, for a license to operate a motor vehicle, when the veteran has received a motor vehicle from the veterans' administration and he or she is otherwise eligible to be granted such license, and when accompanied by a certificate issued by the veterans' administration center certifying him or her to be entitled to such exemption. (Amended 1975, No. 38, § 2.)
