18 V.S.A. § 8716. What's This?

§ 8716. Jurisdiction

The superior court shall have exclusive original jurisdiction over all proceedings brought under this chapter. Proceedings under this chapter shall be commenced in the superior court of the county in which the mentally retarded person resides. (Added 1981, No. 142 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
