§ 229. Use of recoveries

All recoveries from the liquidation of assets or capital facilities which are not required to maintain or manage property under the control of the authority shall be credited to the fund created under section 222a of this title. If the recoveries and insurance accounts are insufficient to provide for debt service payments on any bonds pursuant to section 223 of this title, the necessary amounts shall be paid from the general fund.
