§ 770. Penalty
Any livestock dealer who buys, sells, or transports livestock in this state or operates a livestock auction or sales ring without having a license so to do, issued either to such person or to the firm or corporation which he represents in conducting such business, as herein required, shall be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 or be imprisoned not less than 30 days nor more than 90 days, or both.
