§ 1104. Abandonment or desertion; reporting

Forthwith upon granting assistance for the benefit of a dependent child who has been abandoned or deserted by a parent, the commissioner shall give notice to the appropriate prosecuting officer charged with the duty of enforcing laws relating to the abandonment or desertion of children or minors. (Added 1967, No. 147, { 4; amended 1999, No. 147 (Adj. Sess.), { 1, eff. July 1, 2001.)
