§ 5-608. Requisition of school fund
The board of school commissioners shall, from time to time as the same shall be required, make requisitions on the city council for warrants on the city treasury for such sum of money as they shall require for the payment of the expenses of the schools, which warrants in the aggregate in any year shall not exceed the amount of the school fund established as provided by Section 13 of Subchapter 6 of this charter.
